Tiger in Dreams

Have you ever had a dream about tigers? These powerful and amazing predators are often associated with strength, courage, and sexual prowess. In the world of dream interpretation, dreaming of tigers can be a sign that you are tapping into your inner strength and power.

If you’ve recently had a dream about tigers, you may be wondering what it means. The truth is, there are many different interpretations of tiger dreams, depending on the context and details of your dream. However, one common theme that appears in many tiger dreams is the idea of power and sexual prowess.

In a tiger dream, you may find yourself feeling confident and strong, ready to face any challenge that comes your way. You may feel like a fierce predator, capable of overcoming any difficulty with ease. This sense of power and strength can be very empowering, and may help you to approach your waking life with greater confidence and assertiveness.

For example, let’s say you dream of a tiger stalking its prey through the jungle. This could be a sign that you are tapping into your inner strength and courage, and are ready to face any challenges that come your way. You may feel like a powerful predator, capable of achieving your goals and taking charge of your life.

However, the symbolism of tigers in dreams can also be related to sexual prowess and intimacy. Tigers are often seen as powerful and seductive creatures, and dreaming of tigers can be a sign that you are experiencing a strong level of intimacy and pleasure in your private life.

For example, let’s say you dream of a tiger lounging in a comfortable den. This could be a sign that you are experiencing a strong level of intimacy and pleasure in your romantic relationships. You may feel like a powerful and seductive partner, capable of providing pleasure to your significant other and enjoying a deep level of connection.

Overall, individuals who experience dreams of tigers are often fearless and confident in their waking lives. They meet life head on with full confidence and without fear. They are able to overcome their difficulties with strength and power, and are capable of achieving great success in all areas of their lives.

However, it’s important to remember that the symbolism of tigers in dreams can be complex and multifaceted. In some cases, dreaming of tigers can also be a sign of danger or unpredictability. If you feel threatened or frightened by the tiger in your dream, it may be a sign that you need to be more cautious and aware of potential risks in your waking life.

In summary, dreaming of tigers can be a powerful symbol of strength, power, and sexual prowess. Whether you dream of a fierce predator or a seductive lover, remember that you are tapping into your inner strength and confidence. With courage and determination, you can overcome any challenge that comes your way and achieve great success in all areas of your life.

  1. I woke up this morning with a golden tiger laying on my stomach. He was patiently waiting for me to wake up. He had a golden light to him. He looked me directly in the eyes, but I could not read what he was trying to tell me. I shook the image away, so that is all I can tell you. I was not afraid of him. He keeps back to my mind.

    • The golden tiger, a rare and almost mythical being, embodies the qualities of leadership, personal power, and the courage to face and embrace the unknown. Its presence on your stomach, the center of your personal power and intuition in the body’s energetic system, signifies a direct connection to your core being. It patiently waits for you to awaken, not just in the literal sense of rousing from sleep, but also metaphorically, hinting at an awakening of your inner strength and intuition.

The golden light that surrounds this magnificent creature is symbolic of enlightenment and spiritual illumination. It suggests that you are on the cusp of a significant, enlightening journey that will lead you to discover your innermost strength and wisdom. The direct gaze into your eyes, a window to the soul, indicates an invitation to look deeper within yourself, to explore the depths of your being and to uncover truths that you have, perhaps, been reluctant to face.

The inability to decipher the message the tiger is trying to convey mirrors the mysteries of the subconscious mind. It reflects the often indistinct and enigmatic nature of our inner thoughts and feelings, the parts of ourselves that we are yet to understand fully. This ambiguity is not a barrier but a call to embark on a journey of self-discovery, to explore the uncharted territories of your psyche, and to embrace the totality of who you are.

The fact that you were not afraid of the tiger, despite its formidable presence, speaks volumes about your readiness to confront what lies ahead. It suggests a deep-seated courage and a readiness to face challenges head-on, with a calm and steady heart. The recurring image of the tiger in your mind is a reminder that this powerful energy remains with you, guiding and protecting you as you navigate the complexities of your waking life.

  2. In the dream i was in a building of some kind there was someone else and that person told me to open the door to let the tigers come out and I can see myself up above the door opening it and watching the tigers walk out the door. Then he is on a bike and I’m running with him and we run into the tigers again but they are a little away from us but I know they are coming i see one then two and I start running away from them.

    • The tigers, majestic and fearsome, represent raw emotions or primal instincts that have been confined within you. Their release signifies a moment of liberation, an awakening of feelings, passions, or desires that you’ve perhaps kept at bay or were unaware of. Watching them walk out the door from a vantage point above suggests a degree of detachment or an ability to observe and reflect on your own emotional release from a higher perspective of understanding or consciousness.

The transition to a scene where you are running alongside someone on a bike indicates movement and progression. The bike, a symbol of balance and forward motion powered by one’s own efforts, contrasts with the more primitive, instinctual act of running. This juxtaposition may reflect your journey through life, balancing the civilized, controlled aspects of your existence with the more instinctual, natural parts of your being.

Encountering the tigers again in your path, now in the open, signals that the emotions or aspects of yourself you’ve released are now confronting you in your life’s journey. Their presence, initially distant but inevitably drawing closer, suggests an ongoing or approaching challenge that you perceive as both inevitable and perhaps intimidating. The sight of one tiger becoming two could indicate that the issues or feelings you’re facing are multiplying or growing in complexity.

Your reaction—to start running away—reveals a natural response to fear or confrontation. It suggests a desire to avoid or escape from these challenges or emotions rather than facing them directly. Yet, the act of running in a dream can also imply a subconscious readiness to engage with these challenges on some level, propelled by the instinct to survive or overcome.

  3. I was having a dream that I was looking out my window and I saw baby cubs like 3 than all of sudden I had one on my side (in door on the other side of the window with me ) than I look and I saw the tiger with the other 3 cubs on the other side. than I realize it might had wanted the cub that was with me that why I was seeing them. I open the window quickly and put the cub out to the other side. but for some reason the tiger was trying to get in the house. even tho it had the other cub. all of sudden every entrance to my house was open I was trying not to let tiger in. I was prepare for it to get in and attack me that I told my family members to be prepare and hide in the attic because I couldn’t keep fighting to keep the tiger out. I was prepare to die for them.

    • The mother tiger, representing the formidable, protective, and instinctual aspects of your psyche, or perhaps a maternal figure or influence in your life, appears in search of her cub. This scenario vividly symbolizes the natural instincts to protect and reunite, reflecting perhaps a part of yourself that seeks to reclaim or integrate these emerging strengths or aspects of your personality back into the fold of your broader self-identity.

Your action of quickly opening the window to return the cub underscores a desire to resolve or rectify a situation, to restore balance and harmony. Yet, the mother tiger’s attempt to enter your house, even after the reunion, signifies an invasion of your personal space or peace of mind by external pressures, fears, or perhaps responsibilities that you feel are beyond your control.

The subsequent realization that every entrance to your house is open, leaving you vulnerable to the tiger’s entry, mirrors a state of feeling exposed or unprotected against challenges or emotions that you perceive as threatening. Your efforts to prevent the tiger from entering symbolize a valiant struggle to maintain control over your personal boundaries or to keep at bay the overwhelming aspects of your life that the tiger represents.

The climax of this dream, where you prepare to sacrifice yourself to protect your family, reveals a profound sense of responsibility, love, and selflessness. It speaks to the depth of your willingness to face your deepest fears, even at great personal cost, to ensure the safety and well-being of those you hold dear. This act of preparedness, though born from a scenario of fear, is a testament to your inner strength, courage, and the protective instincts that drive you.

I closed the door so it couldnt go out but he suddenly disappeared and i looked for him to find he had jumped down a shoot and at the bottom was water and a lions outfit (like for a child) which i thought was a drwoned tiger but to my relief it was just an outfit and the tiger as gone…I felt sad and anxious bout where he had gone and wa stelling people that he wouldnnt hutu them and to noit hurt him.

    • In the dream you’ve shared, you find yourself in the company of a beautiful and unique tiger, an encounter rich in symbolism and meaning. This tiger, with its lighter and creamier coat, represents a rare and precious aspect of yourself or your life. It could symbolize a unique talent, a personal quality, or a dream that sets you apart from others. The presence of this magnificent creature within the confines of your home suggests that this special aspect is something very personal and intimate to you, something you wish to keep close and protected.

However, the act of closing the door to prevent the tiger from leaving indicates a desire to control or contain this special quality or talent. It reflects a fear of exposing this aspect of yourself to the outside world, perhaps due to concerns about it not being understood or accepted by others. The sudden disappearance of the tiger, despite your efforts to keep it safe, illustrates the unpredictable and uncontrollable nature of such personal gifts or qualities. No matter how much we may try to hold onto them, they have a life of their own and can disappear or change forms in ways we cannot anticipate.

The discovery of the tiger having jumped down a chute into water, leaving behind a lion’s outfit, adds another layer of meaning. Water often symbolizes the unconscious and emotions, suggesting that this aspect of yourself has delved into deeper emotional or unconscious territories. The lion’s outfit, mistaken for the drowned tiger, symbolizes a fear of loss or misunderstanding. It reflects your worries about losing this special aspect of yourself or it being misconstrued by others. The relief upon realizing it was just an outfit and not the tiger itself indicates a separation between your fears and the reality of the situation.

Your sadness and anxiety over the tiger’s disappearance, coupled with your protective stance towards it, reveal a deep emotional connection to this aspect of yourself. You understand its value and its harmlessness, even if others might not, and you are concerned about its wellbeing and how it is perceived by the world. This protective attitude underscores a recognition of the vulnerability and misunderstanding that often accompany the things we hold dear, especially those that are unique or out of the ordinary.

The dream invites you to reflect on how you manage the unique qualities or dreams that you possess. It encourages you to consider the balance between protecting and controlling these aspects of yourself and allowing them the freedom to express and evolve. The dream also speaks to the importance of understanding and accepting the unpredictable nature of our talents and qualities, recognizing that they may lead us into unexpected emotional depths or transformations.

  6. I dreamt me, my brother, mother and a friend was in the garage, my mom was mad about something so she was questioning me in the garage, so when she got up from the chair she sat to head indoors, the chair immediately turned into a sleeping tiger, and 2 more sleeping tigers appeared outside the garage, in my attempt to lock the garage, Ihad this urge to spit on one of the tigers outside but then I realized there was one inside with me & my family. My mom gently yelled don’t start what you can’t finish and immediately I refrained from spitting on the the tiger, I closed the door halfway and headed inside urging my brother to join me. He refused, and then I saw the sleeping tiger woke up, and immediately I tried to go back to collect apiece of paper on the garage floor, the tiger held my neck with its tail, I still tried to urge my brother to go inside the house, but he still refused. He attempted to help me but I asked him not to, afterwards I immediately elevated my legs and tried to lift the tiger up and toss it on the gate, to hurt and free myself from it, I actually did it, I was happy for a short while, then the angry tiger got up and came for me again. Luckily I ran inside and closed our normal door on its face, but to the tiger’s face felt like been smacked with something hard, heavy, strong and metallic. To my surprise as I looked through the window to the garage I saw the tiger bleeding and trying to shake off the hit, but that wasn’t the scary sight the scary sight was seeing my brother still outside in the garage. Immediately I yelled for my mom, no answer and I yelled for my brother to run outside the gate or get in, instead he just stood there, but then he attempted to get in the house, but the tiger cornered/ covered the door leading indoors and attacked my brother biting him twice on the neck, I still tried to save him by throwing cups and bottles which turned to huge stones before hitting the tiger in its head and stomach which made it come for me through the window I used but before I closed the window from the tiger coming towards me I woke up.
Am still shaking from the nightmare, hurriedly I prayed for my brother and myself. I just had the dream on 25/5/2018, please translate it, I need to understand this horrible nightmare, I’ve never seen a tiger face-to-face except on TV, internet & books so why the hell am I having the 2nd dream that involves a tiger. Pls reply, thank you.
ps: my house is a duplex and the garage is connected to house.

He was relaxed, laying down with his head up.He was watching me but not threatening. There was a big dog there too who was not afraid and laid down next to the tiger. I closed the door to the house but was concerned for the dog, the owner told me not to worry. I was annoyed that no one listened to my direction to keep the doors closed.I woke up.

We had to take s detour and turn left instead of right because there was a large tiger laying dead in the road. I assumed it had escaped from the zoo and got hit by a car. Also one of its back legs was severed, but in a perfectly straight line without any blood.

The door I had to enter turned into a cave door and on top of the entrance was a white and blueish tiger. I walked towards the cave and picked up a rock to attack the tiger and as I was about to swing at the tiger it didn’t move in to attack thus I didn’t hit it and awoke from my dream. 8am hours later and after several other dreams I saw the tiger again and I put my face to its face and rubbed noses.

  16. My first dream of a tiger was last week. I had arrived to my work I had just quit and a friend employee was outside with the kids (I work in childcare) she hands me the tiger and says, here he wants to come inside. I asked if he went pee and she said yes. (now in my dream his presence is adolescent (very young, but his body is full grown).. I think to myself, I know this tiger is people trained, but I still felt nerves. Then he jumps on me with all four legs sideways, I get him down and decide to lay with him and he’s licking the back of mu head.. My head tingles with every lick. And again I think I should be worried because he could bit me, but I remembered that animals smell fear, so I let all my fear go and just let him lick the back of my head.

((now to the description of that first dream I already have it figured out. I quit my job and was contacting children’s administrations and licensing for the violations that the daycare was in. .. The owner also didn’t give me my last check (because of my childcare statement I never received for Dec.. They deducted it) anyway, I’m dealing with a lot of stress and I was approached by the tiger spirit. I did a brave thing and did it quickly and spoke my mind and didn’t wait.

But last nights dream is my confusion…

I’m dreaming a normal dream, when I see the tiger in the sky (like a flat screen saver but across my entire view) I ran to get a better view yelling, “you came back to visit me! You came back! What am I supposed to do, what do you mean? What does all this mean? Help me please help me. .. I get a vision of a square with a smaller rectangle inside and a smaller rectangle inside. Which brings me to a Mexican restaurant (the shapes turned out to be the restaurants entrance) .. It took me nowhere. Randomly later im with my husband, im yelling at him, “your in my dream, I was visited by the tiger again” and obviously he was not interested and saying if im here talking to you it’s not a dream. So I walked away from him cuz he was ruining my buzz. Then im approached by a women asking me if I want surgery.. At first I said no because I was on a mission for the tiger and his meaning.. But I ran into her twice.. And knowingly I was in a dream I said yes o the surgery (just to kill time to see the tiger later) but then as we are walking through the hospital, she pulls out a needle and tries to shoot it in my arm or neck and I ended up getting it and her off me. (my thought of that whole situation was odd, I felt her demeanor change and have a different motive AND I wasn’t in the operating room yet) so I left, went outside and looked up.. I got a flash of the tiger screensaver in the sky with the vision of shapes and then a tiger shaped as a fish facing left, then facing right, then as I try to figure out what does the shapes and the entrance of the Mexican restaurant mean and why left then right.. Are they directions.

    • You are protecting yourself in real life situations. The tiger silently without aggressive behavior behind you sounds like you may have an emotional wall up. Almost like having a body guard, just waiting to get in trouble or waiting to get hurt.

A neighbor then came over to visit, but she was scared and intrigued at the sight of the tiger. She couldn’t believe I wasn’t afraid of it harming my daughters or myself. I told her I didn’t own it that it would come and go as it pleased, but I felt safer when it was here. I then woke up.

I decided to get my gun because I couldn’t sit by while my dog was getting bitten by a tiger (this all happened in the backyard of a house we previously lived in). I looked at my dad who handed me the holster. It was empty so we proceed to lock ourselves inside the house. Then for some reason I open the door and the dog runs in and I look at the tiger who peacefully looks at me and tries to walk in, but I close the door before it can.

The time period seemed like the 20’s, I took a hot air ballon like a zepplin then finished by train. While traveling the tiger was not caged and seemed friendly occuping the same rooms as me. The closer we got to our destination the more the tiger got restless, I felt as though he was waiting to find something or to get someplace. When we reached our destination the tiger dissapeared I couldn’t find him. I was worried because I was afraid he might hurt someone, and I needed to find him.
