Pregnant with an Animal in Dreams

Dreaming of being pregnant with an animal is common when you are going through stages of pregnancies. Depending on the type of animal in your womb, the dream carries a different meaning. This dream will allow you to get closer to your instinctive animal nature and apply them in the waking hours.

  1. I am a teenager and I had a dream that I was pregnant with 5 lion cubs. WHAT THE HELL? I am FAR from pregnant in real life so I am very confused to what this means.

    • I had a similar dream. Good to know from these responses that I was not the only one. I married young so my husband and I both agreed children were not a concern for awhile. We have been married now for 9 years and in our mid 20’s. The idea of children has been brought up a couple times but still, no pressure on the subject. I have had a couple dreams that involved being pregnant but in weird circumstances. In one of my dreams I just found out I was pregnant and then the next day I was 9months, I gave birth and it was a squirrel! Cute and cuddly and I had this very vivid, overwhelming feeling that this was my baby, that this wasn’t strange at all. After reading a couple things, I figure it’s just our psyche telling us what we already subconsciously think about. Ex. Mentally/ emotionally ready to have children, or the thought of ourselves as mother’s on it’s own can induce these dreams. The cute cuddly animal we give birth to is supposedly the closest relationship we have to something adorable and lovable.

  3. Im not pregnant.
I had a dream I was pregnant. I was in a relationship with a female & we wanted kids so we went to the doctors to make that happen. In the dream I never wanted to show my stomach. When I finally did it was when another pregnant women was around me & she had convinced. Right after showing her my small belly, I touched it & found a small bump. That bump moved & I felt a heart beat. So in my dream I believe it was a baby. I was excited and showed everyone the heartbeat. When I was going to show someone, he pointed out that it wasn’t a baby. At this point, I could see slightly through my skin & saw it was a hourseshoe crab with a of a baby. But the face looked as if it was squished against glass. The pigmentation of the skin was purple as if it suffocated. Then after finding that out, we were sad that it wasn’t a human baby & I was weirded out by the fact that it was a horse shoe crab.

Is there anyway you could tell me what this means ?

  4. I had a dream that I was pregnant (with out having sex. I’m not pregnant, I’m only 16. And I’m not into men anyways) but I had a dream that I was pregnant with sextuplets. But they were all teacup pigs except for one of them, which was a real baby. It was insanely weird.

  5. In my dream I was pregnant with a horse. The horse kept pushing on my baby like a hand or a foot of a baby would do. I kept pushing on my stomach to move the horse around and eventually pushed it out. When it came out though it wasnt a horse it was a baby girl. She was so beautiful the only thing is, is that her nose was the same shape of someone I lost a baby by and when she appeared she was about 4-6 months old.

  11. What does it mean, when you dream about being pregnant and feeling the baby move. But when you go for an ultrasound it turns out that you are pregnant with a squid.

    • The squid in your pregnancy dream is a representation of the sperm. This is the most basic form that may have triggered your dream where instead of seeing an egg, you see a squid in the ultrasound.
