I woke up shaking in tears and struggling to catch my breath, from what I presume to be caused by fear. Since having it, I've developed a small phobia of mirrors and have been having troubles sleeping and keeping a decent sleeping pattern. I now sleep for about 5-6 hours a night instead of 8-10 hours. I wasn't even aware I was dreaming, as most people aren't when they do. I had been hanging out with my best friend, doing what we usually do and what not. But it started getting late, so I went back home. When I arrived back at my house, the friend I had just finished visiting called me. I answered and greeted her with a sarcastic remark of how she's so in love with me that she just had to call right after I left, but was only greeted back with vulgar language and shouting, asking who I was and why I've been leaving her texts for the past few days. Utterly baffled, I figured it must be a joke as anyone would probably assume. But she only continued to demand I erase her number and never contact her again and hung up. Really confused and a bit irritated, I tried my best to laugh it off a bit. When I managed to show a small, pitiful smile, my nose began bleeding violently. Which is very normal. I often have nose bleeds from dry weather. So I ran up the stairs and into the bathroom to grab as many tissues I could to keep control of the situation. With my nose still bleeding, I looked up into the mirror and saw myself. But it wasn't really me. It was like I was looking at a moving portrait of myself that someone had scratched up. I guess that would still make it me, but there was some kind of presence to it that really terrified me. Freaked the hell out, I ignored my bloody nose and began crying as I slowly backed out of the bathroom, not taking my eyes off the image in the mirror while it copied my movements and smiled mockingly. I instantly began screaming for my mother when seeing the smile, but I had no voice. No matter how hard I screamed and cried, I couldn't make one sound. So I ran to my mother's room and swung the door open, only to see myself already there having a conversation with my mother. I'm not really sure how to describe the feeling I had, but I felt completely crushed, replaced and forgotten. I broke down into hysteric sobs screaming at them, "It's not me. I'm me. Please see me."</p> <p>Then I awoke, sobbing and shaking as I said above. I really had no idea I was even asleep. This by far was the most realistic and vivid dream I have ever had. And to add even more fear to my nightmare, I woke up in my friend's room (the same friend from the dream), as I had stayed the night, and my nose began bleeding several minutes after waking up. Her bathroom is a taunting jerk. It has a huge mirror above the sink, connected from the counter and being about a foot or two taller than myself. It starts off with me giving birth to a baby girl, everything is fine with her but when I go to change the nappy for the first time i realise that the nappy is full of writhing maggots which have come from inside the baby. I want to bring the baby to the hospital immediately to get checked out but everyone around me is very calm about it and say that it is normal, even though I know that it isn't. In shock and dispair I go to speak to my twin sister (who has two children of her own) for advice and when talking to her I notice that my eyebrows have grown together to form someting of a Unibrow, only thicker, as if taking up the whole of my forehead. I freak out and wonder, how could I have let this happen without noticing that it was growing? I look closer at the mirror and also notice that my hairline (scalp) is starting to come away from my head and there is blood and sores forming all around my hairline.....this is were the dream ends and I have woken up twice at this stage. I was shaking my head trying to stop them and trying to fight back but I was helpless. All of a sudden they stopped and I couldn't see them but I felt like they were right behind me as if they were watching me to see if I was dead. </p> <p>Dramatic I know! When I woke up I was terrified, I wouldn't even open my eyes and I felt exhusted as if I really had been fighting with someone. I would love any feedback on this. I tried to look it up on line but nothing posted on any dream sites really fit with the dream I had.I was walking with my mother to meet my family for dinner. To get there we had to walk a trail I had never been on it or seen it before so my mom was leading the way. The beginning of the trail was lightly wooded an then it turned into a lake were the trail lead up on a boat dock. My mother was far ahead of me and she seemed to be walking the trail with ease. I on the other had was feel scared that i was going to fall in the water. The boat dock has many boats on it. when i say on it the boats were on the dock instead on being tied to them but in the water they were sitting on top. I has to shimmy around one to get to the end of the trail. when i tried to do so i couldn't fit my feet on the dock so i hit the side of the boat with my hit to move it over. the boat moved like it was made of paper. the boat was filled with people also. I didn't know anyone on the boat they were just random people. when the boat started to move i was hanging from it. the boat shot of the dock and was spinning in the air out of control. the people fell into the water and were swimming around. I then was at the family dinner but don't remember how I got there. all of the sudden the cops came looking for me and i heard them say I was wanted for murder of multiple people.
