Hello! I am not a dream expert, however I am fairly well versed in studies of magick (not devil worship, I dont even believe in the devil so dont worry lol). But this sounds like a guardian angel or spirit guide to me.

From my experience, guardian spirits are ones that protect us from harm in other planes and attempt to help us in the physical one. These could be old family pets, or deceased friends/relatives, as well as animals you may have a connection with. It sounds to me like you possibly bonded with this beetle at some point in time, or it bonded to you because it felt that you both were similar. About the devil worship thing, maybe the man who was speaking was trying to say that the beetle is protecting you from evil(aka, devil worship?)?

Spirit guides however, can show themselves to you as animals or people or angels but they’re usually animals. (Im including insects when I say animals, they can be insects) These spirits are ones that may show up at certain points in your life, either in a dream or real life, and their purpose for sticking around is to teach you something you may have missed. These will sometimes show up once and go away, or become reoccurring in dreams. Potentially maybe the beetle showed up to give you some knowledge or it was just passing through to signify that it is there and warn you.

Last night I had a dream that a rainbow colored beetle was in my room- and I was terrified. In the dream, I ran out of the room and called my stepdad in because I had nothing to get rid of it with and he squashed it. The beetle was just sitting there before he did, it didn’t seem like it could fly or that it wished to come near me.

A black beetle was crawling towards me and then up my left arm and wasn’t able to get it off until it had crawled up a bit.

I had a dream where I was pushing my hair behind my ear, but for some reason it wouldn’t move because it was tangled in something. I felt around for what it could be and to the right side of my head (near my temple) I felt a really huge (about the size of a tangerine) smooth object that was clinging onto my hair. I heard someone around me say that it was a beetle. I freaked out and tried to rip it out of my hair, and then I saw myself ripping at it (I went outside my body). The beetle would sometimes loose its grip but it would quickly scurry up my body and latch back on. It was shiny and black but didn’t look exactly like a beetle from what I can remember. I eventually went back into my body and the person spoke to me again. They basically said that the beetle was very hungry which was why it moved so angrily and wouldn’t leave my hair. He explained that the beetle wouldn’t harm me since we had a deep connection and that it would protect me/kill anything that tried to grab it other than me. He also said there were a couple reasons that the beetle showed up. I can’t remember the first one but the second had something to do with demonic/devil worship I think. This dream really scared me and I have no idea why such a sinister idea like that showed up in my dream. If anyone could explain this, I would very much appreciate it.

In reply to Sya. i had a similar dream as well but it was half stag beetle and half spider, it kept leaping to crawl up my arm. i would shake it off out of fear and it would drop into the sink. then it would bounce back on my arm, this time it ran quickly up my arm and it was close to pinching my arm and while hearing my former stepmums friend tell me to "lookout!", i quickly moved before it could. wonder what this means as well?

I have just recently remembered a flash back of a scene from a dream I had where I was looking out the window over like a meadow and saw cat sized stag beetles emerge from the grass and then fly off into the sky. I wasn’t scared but mesmorised by what I saw

I dreamed that beetles were crawling all over my body ( black nettles) while I was standing under a tree to lead a prayer. Then I killed almost all of them before unexpectedly got up from my dream!!!

I dreamed of finding a shoebox-sized golden-brown beetle in my home. It ate a piece of apple I fed it. After doing something and looking back at the beetle, it was gone.

In my dream I could feel something in my ear so i turned my head an kinda tapped my ear lob. An something fell to the table, noticed a couple small black beetle’s. So I had gone to a mirror, in a house that I had never been in in my dream. Looked an they were everywhere burrowing into my ear .. I tried cleaning them out .. but the more I cleaned out the more there were! I kept trying an they kept burrowing into my ear further. An multiplying… Something else I noticed to. I dream in all my senses, but there was no color in this dream. Just different shades of greys and blacks. No sound. No smell. No pain. Even though they were clearly eating into my ear.
