Asteroid in Dreams

Dreaming of an asteroid means you are seeking knowledge from external sources. Asteroids represent sentient beings connecting with you through your dreams. Their wisdom can have profound effects on your relationships and life.

Asteroids in dreams can represent potential, ambition, and drive. This could be interpreted as a sign from your subconscious that you should strive for ambition and focus on your goals. An asteroid in this sense can symbolize the potential for exploration, discovery, and success. Focus on whether the asteroid is traveling in a violent path or simply going with the flow. This will determine the likelihood that your dream will be short lived or persistent.

The asteroid in a dream could also represent threats, danger, and destruction. If the asteroid appears in a threatening way, it could be a warning to stay away from potential dangers and avoid taking risks. If the asteroid is large and imposing, it could be a sign to take control of the situation and not be intimidated by obstacles.

In some contexts, an asteroid can symbolize transformation. If the asteroid in the dream is seen breaking into pieces, it could be a sign that you’re going through a period of change. It could also be an indication of a large shift in your life that’s coming in the future.

  1. Last night I had a dream of a huge rock that was suspended in the air above our home. I was a bit worried that the rock would fall on me but I kept observing it. It remained in its position for a while before it started rising vertically into the sky before disappearing completely. I would like to know what that could possibly mean.

    • Dreaming of a massive rock or asteroid suspended in the air above your home is a powerful symbol filled with multiple layers of meaning. This dream serves as a reminder of vulnerability, awe, and ultimately, liberation and ascension. The imagery is compelling and holds clues about your emotional, psychological, and even spiritual state.

At first glance, the rock or asteroid hanging over your home signifies a looming concern or a weighty issue that has been occupying your mind. Your home in the dream represents your mental and emotional sanctuary; thus, the hovering rock signifies something that threatens to disrupt this peace. It is as if you’re walking a tightrope with the weight of the world dangling above you, ready to drop at any moment. This could be related to relationships, career pressures, or unresolved emotional issues.

However, as you continue to observe the rock in your dream, something miraculous happens—it begins to rise and eventually vanishes into the sky. This act of defying gravity symbolizes a profound transformation. It indicates that whatever challenges or obstacles you perceive as insurmountable are not only manageable but can also be transcended.

The rock’s ascent and eventual disappearance can be likened to a spiritual awakening or a heightened sense of consciousness. It is as if you’re being told that the challenges you face can be alchemized into opportunities for personal growth, and what was once a looming threat can be transformed into something that lifts you higher.

  2. I had a dream of me leaving home to go somewhere real quick then saw a huge asteroid coming towards earth it was like a big moon but the color was pure white and it was made out of a some kind of metal material then from one moment to the other it changed paths towards my home when I looked at it I got concerned and from one moment to the other I was running not sure how that happened I remember my family was home and my child was too I didn’t care at that moment if something happened to me as well I just wanted to get my family out and then I woke up when I got inside the house.

    • Dreaming about a huge asteroid coming towards earth symbolizes significant and possibly life-altering changes that are headed your way. The asteroid, described as a big moon and made of a metallic material, symbolizes something significant and hard to avoid. This could be a major opportunity, a challenging obstacle, or even a drastic change in your personal or professional life. The fact that it’s pure white could indicate something pure, fresh, or new, suggesting a new beginning or a clean slate.

The change in the asteroid’s path, heading towards your home, is noteworthy. Home typically represents safety, comfort, and familiar ground in dreams. It’s a place where you feel secure and at ease. The asteroid shifting its course towards your home could indicate that these imminent changes or challenges will hit close to home, affecting your personal life or relationships.

Your actions in the dream suggest a sense of responsibility and selflessness. Your immediate instinct was to run home and ensure your family’s safety, emphasizing your role as a protector. This might hint at your current life situation, where you’re prioritizing the needs of your family or loved ones above your own. It may also point towards a stressful situation where you feel your family’s well-being is threatened.

The abrupt end of the dream, with you waking up as you entered your house, might represent unresolved issues or a lack of closure. It could suggest that you’re still working through these changes or challenges in your waking life and haven’t yet reached a resolution.

This dream could be a manifestation of some form of anxiety or worry you’re experiencing in waking life. Are you feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities, or are you worried about a particular issue affecting your loved ones?

  3. I had a dream awhile ago, what I remember most and what stuck with me was that I was in a house of some sort in space. I was peeking out of a window, with Earth in my view. I felt calm, never scared, just watching. As I peeked through the window and watched, a huge asteroid was hurling towards Earth. When it hit, I felt the blow of the impact as well as the heat touching my face, not hurting me, almost like feeling heat from opening an oven. I was in a safe place, and again felt no fear but peace and calmness.

  4. night time
dark in an open field almost like a park houses around
giant asteroid size of 2 houses (each house is one floor and 1300sq ft)

it was in the sky but far away from us in miles i would say give or take 7/8miles away … seeing it and feeling it: huge craters soil like colors and the heat was like when u turn an oven on to 200 degrees hot.

how did i feel: fear not knowing what to do who to go to where to go why it happened when is it going to happen or not happen?

who was with me: wife, our 3 kids and I THINK one other person it was a male figure but i can’t really remember them at all….

went into a vehicle like almost spaceship type didn’t go to a different planet just went elsewhere, seen buildings. Whatever buildings we came to had everything we needed except answers. still night time but with a orange brown tint to the sky, no masks either. the moon was visible i believe full or almost full moon.

I can’t remember much after getting to those buildings all I know is that I was scared and the heat of the asteroid felt toooooo freaking real and everything after was a blur honestly like the air quality was thick honestly can’t remember much those are the details I remember the most. But feeling scared and feeling the heat is what stuck out more than anything.

  5. I just woke up not too long ago about, me hanging out with my friends and family before my little screamed and I looked up. I saw it, at first, it was small and then it gradually got bigger, I thought it looked kind of like a cloud, but I knew better. I myself have always been afraid of these types of things because I can’t protect my family from them. Right now, I honestly want to cry, I’m shaking, I don’t like these types of nightmares where I feel helpless.

  6. I experienced a dream last night where there was a massive asteroid, half the size of the moon that was somehow captured by earth’s gravity and was on a very short collision course with earth that would almost certainly kill everything on the planet. It all started when I was on the earth’s surface looking up at the moon and four others that were made up people that I didn’t know seen an object with a similar likeness to the moon but was vastly irregular in shape. It quickly grew in size and somehow we knew it wasn’t going to directly hit us but was going to be captured by the gravity of earth and be a second moon for a very short time before eventually colliding and thus causing mass extinction as it would turned the surface of earth into lava or the inner mantle wouldn’t be inner anymore it would be the surface. So me and these four other people were sent up to bore holes it this asteroid and plant massive thrusters and nuclear weapons all over it but when we got there it was evident that we weren’t the first people that had been there. There was already equipment and segmented buildings in place with CCCP logos and engravings and thus we concluded that the Russians had already beaten us to it, however the equipment and buildings were old and decaying. So I recall investigating the asteroid with my team discovering all this equipment, buildings and bore holes where there were massive thrusters and other smaller bore holes where there were nuclear weapons ready to detonate. When we realized that we were in immediate danger of being vaporized we quickly went to escape and as we climbed the ladder out of this hole the thrusters started to fire up quickly throwing us off the ladder and into space where we seen the asteroid from a wide angle getting thrusted away but at the same time we could see that it was so close it was starting to attract the atmosphere and looked as if there was a tornado of atmosphere spiralling up to the asteroid and then it eventually it was blown into pieces while we floated in space towards the earth where we eventually as one team started to get captured by earth’s atmosphere. We drifted over the Pacific thinking were were going to land in the middle and be goners. Instead we ended up landing in the non frozen Antarctic where we seen an airport with the exact same building as we seen on the asteroid only it didn’t have CCCP logos or engravings. It was deserted and desolate but eventually we got rescued and we could see in the day from where we were that the asteroid was no longer a threat to all life and had a minor meteor shower that was comparable to the Russian meteor that caused a massive shockwave, I think in 2012 or somewhere near that year. Overall it was an immensely vivid dream and I had a feeling of relief when I woke up even though the earth was safe in the dream in the end.

  7. I’ve just woken up from my dream about 10 minutes ago. It’s late/early at 4am and I don’t think I’ve had enough sleep, but I feel that reviewing my dream and writing it down is particularly important when it comes to trying to analyse and also help remember what happened.

I remember I was actually sitting on what felt like an asteroid. It certainly felt very bizarre but although it was flying along, it was mostly going with the flow like you mention and not violent. There didn’t seem to be much room on this asteroid and I was very close to the edge and was a little worried I was going to fall off. As the dream progressed it seemed the worrying disappeared and it seemed the asteroid got bigger to the point like it was just like being on earth.

(Arriving to this website, after searching what dreams about being on an asteroid meant, I should mention that I spent a lot of yesterday watching videos on YouTube in particular the channel of Tai Lopez, who makes video on self improvement. He has a reputation of being a bit of a “living meme” because of one of his first videos, but some of the advice he gives in his videos is quite interesting to me at least.)

I have already forgotten quite a few things that happened in the dream, but here are a few things which stick out:

I was in a group of about 10 people in the dream and I knew one person who I have not seen for years since school alothough there was not much interaction with him.

The dream felt like I was in some sort of gameshow although I didn’t really understand what was happening or what the objective was.

There were certain tasks and agendas, but again I still didn’t really understand.

One particular point was toward the end, I was told my someone from the group that he thought that my favourite situation was being alone with another copy of myself, i.e. me and me. (I’ve spent a lot of time at home, not quite alone, but with my partner, and have been quite isolated the last 2 years).

It was also mentioned I was a recovering drug addict. Looking back in the last 15-20 years of my life I’ve been smoking weed daily but have stopped recently. I’ve never thought of myself as a drug addict but I understand that is exactly how it should be described since cannabis is categorised as a drug.

(I’m in the kitchen in real life, just made a cup of tea, and struggling to remember more details of the dream).

Towards the end of the dream it felt like the whole dream had been a fantasy film I had just watched, but bizarrely as the film “finished” I was able to realise the exact moment I was going to wake up.
