Obelisk in Dreams

Dreaming of an obelisk shows a great sense of perpetual significance. During a period of their own enlightenment, the ancient Egyptians built the obelisks as a place in which even the gods themselves dwelled in. Dreaming of these pillars of art shows not only an affinity for great power, but also of everlasting and immortal memorialization. Thus, that which has survived for so many millenniums will continue to do so for a very long time. You will be remembered by many others for ages to come.

  1. I went to a city of gold, 3 times.
The first time i arrived, I saw many people to my left playing and bathing in a crystal blue in-ground pool, built into stone and beyond it was a giant mountain with chiseled gods and flowing waterfalls cascading down. Miles high. To my right the streets were gold, cobblestone ground which stretched up into a lane and on both sides of the lane were square shaped markets with cloth for doors. It looked middle eastern. There were merchants and there were carts full of produce lining the lane.
The second time, the people were gone. I got further up the market lane and saw the merchants were still there, produce still in the carts.
The third time I walked further down the cobblestone lane, the sky was wide and blue with fluffy clouds. The merchants were gone, the place was deserted.
I came to a massive square and in the middle of it was a giant Obelisk sitting in the middle of a stones structured into a square around it, with water surrounding.
The obelisk spoke, and said I will remember its name repeatedly, then it said to look at the sky, and I did and then to look at the sea beyond it and so I did
And it said there was a holy war coming from the land the sea and the sky and it wasn’t safe for me to stay, but when the war is over I will come back.
When i woke i remembered the name started with E, that was all however the television was on and at that moment the first bomb hit bagdad.

Emmanuel, Emmanuel, god is with us. This is the beginning of the holy war.

    • In your first visit to the golden city, the imagery of people enjoying a crystal blue pool and the grandeur of a mountain adorned with gods and waterfalls suggests a phase of life where everything is vibrant and full of possibilities. The pool, with its clarity and purity, symbolizes clear thought, while the joyous people around it represent social connections and happiness. The mountain, a majestic backdrop, signifies your aspirations and the natural flow of life’s journey.

The second visit marks a transition. The absence of people, yet the presence of merchants and produce, indicates a shift to resilience in times of change. It’s a stage where the external vibrancy diminishes, but the essentials – represented by the steadfast merchants and their produce – persist. This suggests a phase of life where the focus shifts from external joys to internal sustenance and perseverance.

Your third visit, characterized by solitude and the presence of an obelisk, represents introspection. The tranquil setting with a vast sky and a serene sea symbolizes inner peace and the breadth of your subconscious. The obelisk, speaking to you, signifies your inner voice or a connection to a higher wisdom, guiding you through this phase of solitude and revelation.

The message of the obelisk is profound. Its emphasis on the name ‘Emmanuel’, meaning ‘God is with us’, underscores a spiritual awakening or realization of a higher power’s guiding presence in your life. The prophecy of a holy war spanning land, sea, and sky could be an allegory for the internal and external conflicts you face – personal challenges, societal upheavals, or global events. The promise of your return after the war suggests a journey through life’s challenges, emerging wiser and more fortified.

The synchronization of waking up to the news of the bombing in Baghdad as the dream concludes adds a layer of realism and urgency to your dream. It connects your personal spiritual journey with larger, real-world events, underscoring how our inner world is often a reflection of the outer world.

  2. On January 7th, I dreamed that I was in a very narrow underground tunnel and I sat on an obelisk floating through the water in a straight line. The obelisk was my boat. The tunnel was dark and only wider than the obelisk that I sat on. The obelisk came to a stop at the end of this tunnel and I appeared above ground in a park. I placed the obelisk on the ground but somewhat hidden from other park visitors. A male attendant asked if I wanted to switch out the arrowhead that I now saw at the tip of the obelisk for another symbol but I said no because I had no interest in any of them.

  3. During my meditation this morning a new vision came. The cosmos was as beautiful and as expansive. As I was going thru the Reiki symbols a structure was put together like pieces of a puzzle each having symbols like that of Reiki symbols. This structure looked like an obelisk about 4 times taller than me. As I continued with my meditation Love, hope, peace, faith, tranquility, harmony, humility, patience wisdom, knowledge, beauty, and balance a light began to pulse from the top. This pulse got brighter and brighter pulsing further and further until I noticed that there were 4 more obelisks at each corner from me, each with their own symbols. After a while I noticed like an over lay there were many different geometric symbols floating all around me. A pyramid shape was the size of the first obelisk in the center. This did not diminish the view of the cosmos, which still was much much larger than this place. I have no mining just what I saw in my meditation.

  4. I had a dream of these structures last night. 1 in specific but it was odd because I have never seen or thought about them before. There were a few remains from pillars behind it. 4 standing but there wasnt a finished building. When I stood below the obelisk I looked to the top of it and had the most compelling energy type feeling unexplainable. Very random but I felt the strongest connection but have never seen it before.

  5. I dreamed of an Obelisk, falling slowly from the sky above me. When it landed it broke into 6 peices. I put it back together then gained strange powers of flight and energy. Afterwords I was being attacked from armys on both earth and the heavens. There was a huge battle in earths atmosphere, and I was in the middle. It felt as if I was fighting for the lives of everyone on earth. This dream was very vivid and eerie.

  7. I had 6 colored obelisks standing over my bed watching me; black, white, blue, red, brown, and orange with black eyes. When I woke up and saw them looking at me they faded away into the corners of the room and randomly 1 would reach out for me continually.

    • Okay, I’m not quite sure what to make of this but basically I’ve just had a dream we’re I saw a great amass of a tower, somewhat of an obelisk with great ancient markings across from my room. I was asleep during this time and when it came to my vision is shined an empowering light towards me, however the beam of light felt harmless and felt as if it was right through me. When I woke up my pupils were extremely dilated and I wasn’t sure what to make of it. The obelisk had always faded away into the walls of my room, as if it was wanting me to question its existence instead of believing it…
