Astral Projection in Dreams

Dreaming of an astral projection is a fascinating and intriguing experience that can offer a great deal of insight into your subconscious mind. This dream is a clear indication that you have been feeling a sense of wandering, both physically and emotionally, and that you may be feeling disconnected from the people and things that matter most to you.

The act of astral projection in a dream represents the desire to escape from your current reality, whether that be a situation, relationship, or feeling. This dream is often a sign that you are feeling overwhelmed or stuck in your waking life and are searching for a way out. The dream may also symbolize your need to step away from the distractions and noise of the world and reconnect with your inner self.

One of the key themes present in this dream is the idea of creating your own destiny. When you dream of astral projection, you are showing yourself that you have the power to shape your own life and determine your own path. This dream is a reminder that your emotions and thoughts are not controlled by others, and that you have the strength and ability to make your own choices.

Sarah realized that this dream was a reflection of her desire to escape from the stress and chaos of her daily life and find a place of inner peace.

Another example is of a man named David who dreamed of astral projecting and found himself floating above a bustling city. He felt a sense of detachment from the noise and chaos below and realized that this dream was a reminder for him to step back from his busy life and focus on what truly mattered to him.

Finally, a woman named Emily dreamed of astral projecting and found herself in a room filled with light and love. She felt surrounded by the people she loved and realized that this dream was a symbol of her desire to reconnect with her friends and family and to strengthen her relationships.

  1. I just woke up unable to move feeling unable to breathe due to this dream.here goes: My mother and my son and myself were in this trailer it was dark all throughout as the front door was open. I saw something that spooked me like a figure but not quite. I turn around and they’re both suddenly asleep. For some reason I lie down and try to sleep also but as I’m about to drift off I see this cloud of smoke hovering beside and then swooshing over me and my son and a warmth so brilliant I’ve never felt anything like it before. It took my breath I couldn’t speak or move I started hyperventilating and then my mother woke up. She told me it was her, she was reaching for me and my son.I told her I could feel and see it but it didn’t seem like her. And I was panicked I had to leave because I was scared that it was after my son, and then I ACTUALLY woke up. Unable to move think or speak, mouth dry from heavy breathing and everything was blurry and out of focus. I’m still freaked out about it.

    • The trailer, dark and confining, might symbolize a current state or phase in your life that feels limited or restrictive. The darkness, pervasive throughout the dream, could represent the unknown, uncertainty, or unexplored aspects of your psyche. The open front door, however, offers a glimmer of hope or possibility, an invitation to confront these unknowns despite the inherent fear they inspire.

The appearance of a figure that spooks you, followed by the sudden sleep of your mother and son, introduces a theme of protection and vulnerability. Your instinct to lie down and attempt to sleep as well, despite the fear and unease, suggests a desire for normalcy and peace, a need to shield not just yourself but also your loved ones from the unknown threats lurking at the periphery of your consciousness.

The cloud of smoke that envelops you and your son, bringing an unprecedented warmth, is particularly significant. Smoke, ethereal and transient, can symbolize confusion, mystery, or transformation. The warmth, so brilliant and all-encompassing, might represent love, comfort, or enlightenment—a profound emotional or spiritual experience that transcends ordinary sensations. Yet, this encounter leaves you breathless, unable to speak or move, highlighting a fear of the overwhelming or uncontrolled aspects of such profound experiences.

Your mother’s explanation in the dream, asserting that it was her reaching out to you and your son, introduces a complex layer of connection, protection, and perhaps, misunderstanding. The fear that the presence was after your son speaks to a deep-seated protective instinct, a fear of threats—real or imagined—to those you hold dear. This part of the dream may reflect anxieties about your ability to protect and provide for your loved ones, or it could symbolize a communication breakdown or misinterpretation of intentions within your family or close relationships.

The physical sensations upon waking—paralysis, heavy breathing, blurred vision—indicate a state of sleep paralysis, a phenomenon often accompanied by vivid, sometimes terrifying dreams. This physiological response can amplify the emotional intensity of the dream, leaving a lingering impact on your waking consciousness.

This dream invites us to consider the themes of protection, fear of the unknown, the deep bonds of family, and the transformative power of love and warmth. It may be an invitation from your subconscious to confront and explore these deep-seated fears and desires, to open the door to the unknown with the assurance that warmth and love await on the other side. It’s a call to navigate the dark, confined spaces of your current circumstances with the understanding that such experiences, however unsettling, can lead to profound growth and connection.
