Riddle in Dreams

Dreaming of a riddle can be a sign of a highly intelligent and inquisitive mind. A riddle is a question not easily answered; thus, dreaming of a riddle can be a sign that your brain is still active and at work while you sleep. Even though your body may not be physically active, you are still thinking and trying to solve some questions directed towards you or that you have in mind.

To dream that you have difficulty solving a riddle is suggestive of your patience is running low towards a specific situation. You feel that you can’t find a solution fast enough and is frustrated by your inability to do so. Take a moment’s breath and carefully analyze the situation. Maybe the answer is just sitting right in front of you the whole time.

One interpretation of a riddle in a dream is that it represents a challenge or a problem that the dreamer is facing in their waking life. This can be seen as a sign that the dreamer is trying to find a solution or make sense of a difficult situation, but they are struggling to understand it fully. For example, a dream of trying to solve a riddle may signify the dreamer’s feeling of confusion or uncertainty in their career or a relationship.

Another interpretation of a riddle in a dream is that it represents a desire for knowledge or understanding. This can be seen as a sign that the dreamer is seeking to gain a deeper understanding of themselves or the world around them. For example, a dream of trying to solve a riddle may signify the dreamer’s desire to gain a deeper understanding of their own thoughts and emotions.

A riddle in a dream may also be caused by a feeling of being curious or inquisitive in one’s waking life. If the dreamer is someone who is always seeking to learn and discover new things, they may dream of solving a riddle as a way to satisfy that curiosity.

    • The fact that the answers to the riddles are found in a book suggests that you may be seeking knowledge or wisdom to help you navigate a situation. A bookstore might symbolize the search for answers, knowledge, or information. Winning a large sum of money, such as 1 million pesos, in your dream can often be interpreted as a symbol of success, prosperity, and financial stability.

    • I had a dream where I was looking for an antidote for something and the man that hid it left a riddle on a note saying “look down and things make not look as they seem, but look up and you’ll find your answer” and I’m trying to decipher it here in my personal life.

  3. I had a dream where I was living in a large fortress. It was falling apart, Moss on the floors and Ivy on the walls so it was ancient. I lived in it with my littlest sister who is 7 and my mom. I was haunted in my dream by a ghost of a woman who lived during the witch trials and I guess was a very old relative of mine. She was asking me to find the ritual she was accused of doing and hung for so that she can finally cross over to wherever. I agreed and started searching through books and old diaries until I found a sheet of old parchment with a child’s drawing of two stick people sitting on either end of a long table. There were words under the table but they were coded. I went to sleep in my dream and woke up to the ghost woman talking to a dead ghost hunter about a diary they found. I tried grabbing it from them but they had a hard grasp on it. I ended up wrangling it out of their hands and opened it to find the same drawing as before except this time there weren’t words below the table but a cipher on top. So I took out the first drawing and decoded it. It said ‘rituals must stay hidden’. I had the realization that I shouldn’t help the woman, she wasn’t who she said she was. But it was too late, she found what she needed to do and floated out of the room to an open field. On my way out of the room there was a line of ghosts all wearing black old fashioned outfits all down to the front door. They looked down at me and kept saying “finish what you started”. So I ran outside and into the field but there was only a candle and no one was there. I blew out the candle and went back to the fortress. The second I saw the front doors I knew something was wrong. I walked in and my older sister was sitting at the dining table in the room across the hall. I slowly headed my way to her and she looked at me and with tears in her eyes and said “mom and our little sister are dead”. I couldn’t believe it, I was hearing their voices then. They were in the other room but my older sister couldn’t hear them. I then realized, I was the only one to who can see these ghosts. So I made my way out of the house, my eyes on the floor and said “I will not see them. Because if I do it confirms their death. I will find a way to bring them back.” And then I woke up once I left the fortress.

  4. I have this dream where my field at my school turned into a pond/lake and it was a popular swimming spot. I always swim to the end of the swimming spot with my friend. He and I find this house and we go inside, thinking it’s his. Btw this house is floating on the water. Before we go inside the house we usually explore the thick jungle like, huge tree’d forest. Once we go inside he’s like “Ima use the bathroom brb” So I wait for him but he never comes back. I have to figure out which room he is in and get out. I begin to get a little anxious because I can’t get out of the house. I search the entire house but never find a way out.
