Bedroom in Dreams

A person’s bedroom is often regarded as their private sanctuary where their secrets and inner thoughts are cached away from the rest of the world. Thus, a bedroom in your dream is a symbolization of the intimate part of yourself that others do not know of unless you are willing to let them in. Dreaming of yourself being inside a bedroom represents your sexual desires of lust and passion. When it is just you alone in the bedroom and you do not want to allow others in, it can be interpreted as fear of others learning your most private and clandestine thoughts. Without others around in your bedroom, you feel less vulnerable and exposed.

To envision you being in your own bedroom represents your feelings of security, safety, and protection. On the other hand, allowing someone into your bedroom is equivalent to sharing of trust and willing to take the risk of being vulnerable. You want others to see you for who you are and not beneath a facade of lies and masks.

  1. I’ve always loved my boyfriend’s bedroom at his house, so peaceful I always slept so well even if only for a nap. I dreamed the office next to his bedroom had become his new bedroom, the office room was larger with bigger windows than before, the door faced the living room now instead of the bathroom. It had a larger bed that was just as cozy, a closet, dresser and chair. He was asleep in the bed snoring and I climbed in feeling at peace with the predawn light just showing up. The room was a soft white and the furniture was a medium brown but not harsh in color with a pale color chair.

  2. I had a dream in my childhood home. My previous boyfriend, who has remained a good friend all these years was in the dream. We were walking into my bedroom and he moved the portable partition 2 in a sense to close the door in my room. (Old house, didnt have a door) as he was moving it I commented on how it now had broken pieces in it. We went to lay down in the blankets and I was touching his arm and hand. Then I heard someone knocking on the front door. I got up and so did he. It was my brother and he was his usual self, joking around with us in the piano room. I dont remember anything else.

  3. Hi there. I just dreamt that I was in a brand new bedroom which was really nice with lots of mirrors. I was talking about a girl that I am keen on and they were giving me advice on how to handle the situation. Whilst talking about this a girl came in who is as equally as beautiful.

    Any ideas would great,
    Thanks,
    Tim.
