Lighthouse in Dreams

Many travelers and sailors are able to complete a safe odyssey home with the aid of a lighthouse. The lighthouse bestows light to illuminate the path home for wary travelers and warn them of perilous risk of crashing into bulky rocks along the shore. Thus, dreaming of a lighthouse can represent that in your current life, there is someone who is providing guidance to you. That person is playing the role of a guardian angel and ensures that you have a safe and unscathed journey throughout life.

Look around you and see who has been your side, providing admonishment in times of need. That person should be forever held dear in your heart.

  1. 5 months ago my partner and I split up. I loved him very much, and have missed him since. Though the relationship was not right for me, that he was not right for me which I know deep down, I still think about him all the time. I have had many dreams since but last night I had one and would to love to understand it.
I met him outside a lighthouse and we started talking (dreams are weird, and next thing I know is we are both inside the lighthouse but can’t remember walking through a door to get in). We talk for a while downstairs and I know this cause I’m aware of a spiral staircase beside me. He tells me he misses me (again dreams are weird and I’m reading in a ‘book’ that we got married but shortly after separated and he died and I was still in the lighthouse when I was reading this. I remember closing the book and looking up…
Can anyone help, it’s left me incredibly emotional
    Thank you

    • A lighthouse can mean different things to different people. For some people, it represents guidance and direction when they are lost in their lives and future.

Dreams are highly personal and subjective. If someone interprets a lighthouse as a sign of departing it might be true for them, but not necessarily true for others. Here it is as much of a place to reconnect again, and also a place to say your final goodbyes.
