  1. I had a dream that as I was walking up the stairs in my home, they collapsed into what appeared to be a ladder. There were two doors, one on each side of me. While I was holding on my mother opens the door ahead of me. She said she came to help me, but then pointed out that the door behind me was much closer for me to reach. She added it doesn’t make a difference which one I took as they would both lead me to safety.

  2. I dreamt that I was with my long time friends and that we were going to a party of some sort, but in order to get there, we had to climb on to a thick mattress together and ride the mattress down a set of stairs (that included a right turn). It was so scary to be at the top of the stairs but by the time we got to the bottom, it turned out that the ride down was relatively smooth and not scary. (Background: we are all female and 48 years old; one of my friends recently passed six months ago and she was also on the mattress; there is a 30 year high school reunion coming up that I’m not going to).

  3. I don’t usually think a lot about (or of) symbolism in dreams, but last night I had a dream that was vey similar in some ways to a dream I had just a couple weeks ago. And I have pretty good memory of both dreams, which is also unusual for me, since I usually do not remember my dreams at all.

Last night, I had a dream that I had a college class and it was on the third floor of a building. The thing that struck me were the stairs. They seemed very tall (long?) and not incredibly stable. The stairs in my previous dream were also unsteady.

I am currently trying (rather unsuccessfully) to move ahead at work, so I wonder if my dreams have anything to do with that. Both dreams had long staircases that made me nervous, they were both set in college (I have not been back to college in awhile, but I want to get back and finish my BA), and the one last night had one of my current coworkers in it.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

  5. i dreamed of climbing a very steep stairs, when i looked back, I felt like i was falling but i continued to crawl until someone lifted me up.
